AOTO Electronics has officially delivered the XR Studio project built to support the Shanghai Press Group. This marks an important milestone in the Shanghai Press Group's transformation into new media and its embrace of virtual production technologies. Recently, The Paper, a media outlet under the Shanghai Press Group, used the studio to broadcast live coverage of the AFC World Cup qualifiers. The resulting visuals were incredibly realistic and immersive, leaving a deep impression on viewers and garnering widespread attention and praise in the media and communications field.
The background screens (108 units) and floor tile screens (IF2.6V4X, 80 units) of the studio are all equipped with AOTO Electronics' LED displays. Their exceptional color reproduction, high contrast, and wide color gamut characteristics allow the virtual scenes to seamlessly blend with real-world imagery, achieving a flawless integration effect. Leveraging AOTO Electronics' self-developed full-angle technology, the studio maintains consistent color and brightness stability from any shooting angle, effectively solving the common issue of color distortion in wide-angle shots. This breakthrough provides the creative team with greater freedom and flexibility. Additionally, the integrated motion capture system and real-time rendering technology, working in close collaboration with AOTO Electronics' high-performance LED displays, greatly enhance the efficiency of dynamic scene rendering and shooting synchronization. This opens up more possibilities for creative expression for the live broadcast team.
In recent years, the growing demand for high-quality, immersive content in the media industry has driven the widespread adoption of XR studios. By seamlessly integrating virtual scenes with LED screens, XR technology enables media outlets to efficiently and flexibly produce diverse content, including sports broadcasts, variety shows, and live news coverage. The dynamic capture and real-time rendering capabilities of XR technology have significantly enhanced the realism of content and the flexibility of creative production.
The XR studio project delivered by AOTO Electronics aligns with the high-quality media broadcasting needs through technological innovation. It helps clients reduce post-production time, optimize on-site scheduling, and lower operational costs, setting a new benchmark for the innovative and forward-thinking use of virtual production technology in news media applications.
